大湖採草莓 Strawberry Picking at Dahu

After walking in the greens, we decided to go strawberry picking at Dahu township next to Taian. At first we had no clue about the price range for strawberries, after some phone call recognisances we ended up at 小蜜蜂(Little Bee) strawberry farm where it charged NT$250 per one Taiwanese Kilo. This was the first time we went strawberry picking, and it was quite fun actually.

my basket and scissor

Ama went cray cray and picked up every strawberry she saw at first sight, she even picked up a tiny green one that obviously was not meant to be picked up. Yi strived to took Ama’s scissor away, but she just continued picking with bear hands. Ama’s mindset: dis whole strawberry picking is a fucking chore, gonna get dis shit done as fast as possible. (The picture illustrates the process of how Yi was trying to convince Ama to put down her god damn scissor)
little tip: green means not ready

I thought the whole strawberry picking was gonna end very soon after Ama’s madness. But after sample tastings of perfume strawberry, Mom and Yi decided that those weren’t sweet so the owner took us to pick up some milk strawberries on the other side. This time Ama was taken custody at the storefront.
